How to Ace your Disneyland Paris Audition

Disneyland Paris Audition Tips

To help you prepare your group for their audition and increase your chances of success, our team offer their expert tips how to ace your audition

We know from first-hand experience, that auditions can be a little scary and stressful for all concerned. Having supported a wide range of groups successfully perform at Disneyland® Paris, we hope you find the guide useful and that it will point you in the right direction for wowing the panel at Disneyland® Paris, it may even help you with any other auditions you need to prepare for!

Your audition is the only tool we have to assess your group, therefore please ensure that the quality and content show you at your best – good luck!

DOs

  • Check that you have completed your application form correctly
  • Keep your audition routines in line with your intended performance
  • Make sure you can see the entire body of all performers in your recorded audition
  • Smile and face the camera in your recorded audition
  • Ensure all performers are in time with each other and the music
  • Make sure all performers are dressed in a similar style—costumes aren't required for your audition
  • Make sure that all group members appear prominently in both of your routines
  • Ensure that all choreography and music is age appropriate and suitable for young families of all cultures
  • Ensure you keep vocal soloists to a minimum—each will need to audition separately
  • Make sure that microphones capture the entire group when recording your musical theatre or vocal audition
  • Pre-record any vocals on your show track to ensure a good quality of sound in the theatre
