Day in the Life of a COGO Performing Arts rep
The COGO Travel Performing Arts Team are with you at every step towards the performance of a lifetime at Disneyland® Paris. From the moment you submit your audition to the final applause after your performance, our expert team is here to guide, support, and celebrate with you.
Whether you’re a first-time performer or a seasoned group returning to Disney’s iconic stage team ensures your performers feel confident, prepared, and ready to shine, making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as seamless as it is unforgettable.
Meet Peter, one of our Performing Arts reps!
Hi, I’m Peter, part of the COGO Performing Arts team, and I’m here to support you and your group throughout your trip to Disneyland Paris! From the moment your trip is booked, I’ll be your main point of contact, ensuring you have everything you need to feel confident and ready to dazzle on the big stage.
As soon as your trip is confirmed I’ll be in touch to start the exciting process of preparing everything for your performance. My first priority is to guide you through the application and audition process. I’ll provide you with all the information you need to ace your audition, including tips on what the Disney audition panel is looking for and advice to help your group shine.
We have a 100% audition pass rate in 2024
Once I’ve submitted your application and received the good news that you’ve passed, I will talk to you about your performance and give guidance about how to put your show together.
Your show date and time will be confirmed by Disney around one month prior to travel, and our team are here for you right up to your travel date. In resort, the COGO team will escort your group to the Videopolis Theatre on the morning of your performance for your safety tour and blocking rehearsal and your practical workshop, if you are having one.
And, of course, we’ll be there in the audience to cheer your performers on as they take to the stage – we’ll even take some pictures and share them with you and on our social media platforms to give your followers a look at how fabulous you are. We love to sit with performers' families and enjoy the shows, it can be quite emotional seeing your dancers up there, it makes us all so proud!
Time to Shine groups
If you’re participating in one of our Time To Shine pre-parade events, we’ll get your group together with the other groups and hold a ‘cleaning’ rehearsal with a professional Disney dance coach to iron out any little inconsistencies in the parade choreography and ensure that everyone is moving together as one. They’ll also advise on how to conserve energy and make the very best of your performance in front of thousands of Disneyland visitors!
When the parade commences, we’ll be there proudly carrying the Time To Shine banner so the whole park knows exactly who you are – the brightly coloured tops we all wear are bound to get your dancers recognised afterwards; you’ll have impressed park guests giving you compliments for the rest of the day!
